Bienvenue to rebonjour la France! I am so happy that you are here!
I keep returning to France to say ‘re-bonjour’ {hello again} and created this site as a place to share my photos & my love of all things French
My love for France began at the young age of 13 when I visited France for the first time with my family. We were on a whirlwind summer trip around Europe and France was definitely my favourite as we not only went to Paris but we drove all around the country visiting chateaus and taking in the beautiful countryside and way of life! I was fortunate to be able to travel back to the south of France a few years later for another family trip, and then after that I would save up my money to go back to France for vacation whenever I could in order to explore other parts of the country, and I fell even more in love with the French language, products, food, fashion, culture, architecture, history and way of life.
After all my travels I had always dreamt of living in France and I was finally able to do so when I got accepted into a business school in Bordeaux in the southwest of France to do my master’s degree in international business! I packed up my life in Canada and moved to France and I can say without a doubt that was one of the best decisions and years of my life!
After living in Bordeaux for a year and completing the master’s program, I then moved to Paris for a few months before moving back to Canada. I knew I still wanted to have the opportunity to work in France and two years later I got a job in Paris working in fashion ~ which was an amazing experience and I ended up living in Paris and travelling around Europe for work for two years!
Living in both Bordeaux and Paris made me fall in love even more with the way of life in France, and it was also where I discovered my love for photography as I captured my life and the beautiful historical backdrop around me on every corner I turned and explored.
This past year I came back to live in Paris for the third time, as I missed it so much I wanted to say re-bonjour! I wanted to create this site as a place where I can share with you my love of France and my experience of living and traveling there through my blog, to inspire you with my photos through my print shop and my instagram, as well as to share all things French that I love and find - in hopes that you too will go to France one day to say bonjour or re-bonjour, or at least be able to dream about it!
